Job Overview

The Retail Sales Lead emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and visual presentation. Implements store business plans and collaborates with the Store Manager and team to ensure operational excellence. Acts as a role model, guiding the team to deliver excellent customer experiences and maximize sales. This role requires strong rapport-building skills and may include opening and closing the store.

Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate selling, incentive, and product knowledge strategies.
  2. Cover sales floor at all times.
  3. Open/close the store as scheduled.
  4. Maintain awareness of all sales promotions and replenish the sales floor as needed.
  5. Execute store maintenance, ensuring a neat, clean, and tidy environment.
  6. Uphold high standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
  7. Adjust to different customer personalities and operate computerized register systems.
  8. Achieve and exceed sales goals regularly.
  9. Develop relationships with existing customers.
  10. Adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
  11. Complete tasks accurately and on time, demonstrating reliability.
  12. Make informed decisions and take initiative in tasks.
Required Knowledge and Skills
  1. Previous retail or customer service experience.
  2. Proven sales achievement record.
  3. Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  4. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  5. Strong team-building and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Outlook preferred.
  8. Quick learner of new processes and technologies.
