Job summary

White House Black Market in Edison, NJ is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and support leadership duties. You will uphold brand standards and create a positive culture that delivers memorable, personalized shopping experiences for customers.

As a role model, you will coach associates, share product knowledge, and manage store operations including opening/closing, scheduling, and inventory.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni‑channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
