Overview

The Lead impacts brand standards and the teammate experience. Working with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is an in-store expert focused on customer service and team leadership. Key qualities include leading by example, empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

  • Supports building and hiring a strong team through interviews and tours.
  • Builds a people-first culture by connecting with teammates to foster trust and respect.
  • Plans and organizes 30-day strategies with guidance, aligning workforce and store activities.
  • Leverages teammates to meet brand standards, execute programs, and prioritize tasks.
  • Maintains merchandising standards, including floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory presentation.
  • Assists with store supervision and team training, including onboarding and cross-training.
  • Focuses on coaching and development, explaining the 'why' behind tasks and processes.
  • Supports the store's vision by aligning responsibilities with organizational goals and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adheres to safety, loss prevention policies, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Supports team efforts across the store and performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Retail or customer service experience preferred.

  • Ability to work at heights using ladders or platforms.
  • Repetitive motion capability for short periods.
