Job summary

Journeys is seeking energetic retail teammates to assist store management, develop associates, and achieve sales goals. You will support a fast-paced team, deliver excellent customer service, and uphold company standards.

Qualifications

• Customer service orientation and ability to assist customers
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration
• Ability to lead and train peers and maintain store standards

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals
• Assist in training and developing a successful sales team
• Provide coaching and accountability to employees and enforce policies
• Open and close store according to policy
• Supervise daily store operations in the manager's absence
• Ensure loss prevention practices are followed in the absence of management
• Complete all tasks and training as assigned
• Provide a fun, full-service experience to customers
• Resolve customer issues effectively
• Demonstrate Journeys culture to the team
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Be willing to learn and advance to Sales Lead or equivalent training
• Work night and weekend shifts
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
