Overview

The Lead plays a key role in executing brand standards and enhancing the teammate experience. Under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager, the Lead is an in-store expert of their department, focused on delivering exceptional service and providing direction to teammates. Successful Leads lead by example, demonstrate empathy, resilience, optimism, and collaboration.

  • Supports building and hiring a strong team through in-store interviews and department tours.
  • Builds a people-first culture by connecting with each teammate to foster mutual trust and respect, contributing to a positive store environment.
  • Plans and organizes 30-day strategies with the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager, including workforce planning for daily tasks, projects, and store events.
  • Leverages teammates strategically to meet brand standards, execute programs, and prioritize tasks.
  • Maintains merchandising and presentation standards, including floor sets, signage, pricing, and inventory presentation.
  • Assists with general supervision and training of teammates, including onboarding and cross-training.
  • Prioritizes coaching and development, providing hands-on guidance and teaching the rationale behind tasks and processes.
  • Leads by example to align responsibilities with organizational goals and deliver an outstanding shopping experience.
  • Creates an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome, safe, and respected.
  • Adheres to safety, loss prevention, and operational policies, maintaining confidentiality of company information.
  • Supports the team across the store as needed and performs other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior retail or customer-focused experience preferred
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift 15-35 lbs. repeatedly
  • Ability to work extended periods standing or walking
  • Ability to work at heights over 4 feet using ladders or platforms
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions for short durations
