Job Description

The ideal Nordstrom Rack team member enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You’ll make the customer experience quick, easy, and fun while helping customers uncover great deals.

A day in the life for Sales and Cashier:

• Create a smooth fitting room experience by greeting customers, taking them to fitting rooms, and sorting/returning clothing to the floor
• Motivate and inspire others to adopt initiatives such as the Nordstrom Rewards program
• Keep stockrooms organized and complete all inventory processes, ensuring merchandise is properly checked in and accurately ticketed
• Work with the team to keep the sales floor 'runway ready' through re-merchandising and straightening
• Assist customers with transactions through a seamless and friendly experience
• Demonstrate expertise in store technologies
• Defuse customer situations and provide timely resolutions

A day in the life for Stock Support and Fulfillment:

• Receive, unload freight, unpack, and deliver merchandise to selling departments
• Fulfill customer orders promptly, adhering to quality standards
• Prepare and ship customer orders following packing and shipping standards
• Use inventory management systems to scan, process, and research shipments
• Maintain clean and organized floors and stockrooms
• Support store activities such as setting up events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating fixtures
