Dollar General Corporation is seeking a store associate responsible for helping customers, stocking merchandise, and operating the register. You will unload deliveries, set up displays, and maintain organized stock areas to maximize profits and customer satisfaction.

The role requires friendly, reliable team players who can handle basic math, cash handling, and plan-o-gram adherence in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication abilities.
• Understanding of safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams and merchandise guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures and math.
• Experience using IBM cash registers or similar systems.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise efficiently.
• Receive, open, unpack cartons; organize stock room and floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays; restock as needed.
• Greet customers and assist in locating items on the floor.
• Operate cash register, scan items, bag purchases, and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners; maintain store cleanliness.
