Job summary

C-A-L Stores Companies Inc is seeking a customer-focused team member to assist shoppers, answer questions, and maintain store standards. You will help with greeting customers, answering phones, and supporting merchandising efforts to promote products and promotions.

You will work closely with store colleagues to keep the sales floor clean, organized, and well-stocked, while ensuring pricing and signing compliance. Prior retail experience and strong communication are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge every customer, answer questions, and help locate products.
• Answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain constant radio communication with associates.
• Develop knowledge of Coastal Farm product lines and promotions.
• Support merchandising, signage, pricing, and display upkeep.
• Assist in floor moves and store housekeeping.
