Job summary

AT&T in Washington, DC (Chinatown) is hiring a Retail Sales Consultant. You’ll be at the center of it all, using personalized sales expertise to connect customers with AT&T’s products and services.

You’ll guide customers through options with a consultative approach, participate in events, fill online orders, and make outbound calls. Expect a 9am–9pm schedule including weekends; strong performance earns uncapped commissions.

• Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is a plus.
• No sales experience? We’ll provide you with the tools, training and coaching needed to help you meet and exceed your goals!

Responsibilities

• Use a consultative sales approach guiding customers through options.

• Maintain a flexible schedule with shifts between 9am–9pm, including weekends; follow a seniority-based schedule announced 2 weeks in advance.

• You’ll be a part of the community through events, filling online orders and making outbound calls to existing and potential customers.
• You’ll work a schedule between 9am-9pm, including weekends, so you can be there when our customers need us. Monthly seniority-based schedules are available 2 weeks in advance.
• This is a fast-paced environment, being flexible and open to change will help you stay current with evolving tech and all the ways we work to meet customer’s needs.

Our new Retail Sales Consultant’s earn between $58,800 – $75,000, including hourly rate and our uncapped commission opportunities for our top sellers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Salary range is dependent on if all sales goals are met and/or exceeded.
