Job summary

AT&T in Freehold, New Jersey is hiring a Retail Sales Consultant to help customers choose devices and services with personalized guidance. You will use a consultative sales approach on the sales floor and participate in community events, online orders, and outbound calls.

Typical schedule is 9 am–9 pm, including weekends, with 40 hours a week and 2-week advance seniority-based scheduling. Training is provided to help you meet and exceed goals.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• On the sales floor, you’ll use a consultative sales approach, guiding customers through their options; this is where your drive and passion for helping people will really shine.
• You’ll be a part of the community through events, filling online orders, and making outbound calls to existing and potential customers.
• You’ll work a schedule between 9 am-9 pm, including weekends, so you can be there when our customers need us. Monthly seniority-based schedules are available 2 weeks in advance.
• This is a fast-paced environment; being flexible and open to change will help you stay current with evolving tech and all the ways we work to meet customers’ needs.
• Prior retail or customer-facing sales experience is a plus. No sales experience? We’ll provide you with the tools, training, and coaching you need to meet and exceed your goals!

Our new Retail Sales Consultant’s earn between $47,000 to $75,000, including hourly rate and our uncapped commission opportunities for our top sellers.

Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training. Salary range is dependent on if all sales goals are met and/or exceeded.
