Dollar General in Tupelo, MS is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams, and stock merchandise to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will unload trucks, stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, greet customers, operate the cash register, handle payments, and keep the store clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram merchandising guidelines.
• Basic math skills and cash handling familiarity.
• Experience with IBM cash registers.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks and stock the sales floor.
• Receive and unpack cartons; restock shelves.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays.
• Greet customers and assist in locating items.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Bag merchandise and give correct change.
• Assist with ordering using handheld scanners.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stockroom organization.
