GATE Petroleum is seeking a proactive Store Associate to support daily operations across our stores. You will engage customers, handle transactions, stock merchandise, and maintain a clean, organized sales floor.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail environment. The position requires legal age to sell restricted products, ability to pass drug tests, and willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Formación

• Must be of legal age to sell alcohol and tobacco products.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at a level sufficient to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds.
• Must have the ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods of time.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, stoop, and reach (including overhead).
• Ability to successfully work in varying and extreme temperatures.
• Must possess basic reading, writing and math skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
• Must be able to operate a personal computer.
• Ability to understand and comply with company policies and procedures relating to robberies and the safe and proper handling of petroleum products.

• Interact with customers and resolve complaints.
• Provide accurate checkout experience and assist customers with questions.
• Stock shelves and ensure products are correctly labeled and priced.
• Operate cash register and payment devices according to policy.
• All other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
