Job description

The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience and performing duties such as cashiering, sales floor merchandising, replenishment, receiving, and e-commerce fulfillment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Model company values in all actions, communication, and decision-making.
• Maintain store standards by assisting with stocking, merchandising, e-commerce operations, store cleanliness, and completing operational projects/tasks.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Sales Floor:

• Create a positive customer experience using sales and customer service programs.
• Educate and enroll customers into BevMo!’s ClubBev Program and the Gopuff App.
• Use product knowledge and training to recommend products.
• Provide solutions, such as product substitutions or special orders.

E-commerce:

• Pick and pack items accurately for dispatch.
• Ensure accuracy in picking and packing.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

Receiving:

• Receive products, verify counts, and resolve discrepancies.
• Merchandise products on the sales floor and in the warehouse.
• Conduct cycle counts to identify loss and improve stock levels.
• Re-shelve canceled orders promptly.
• Manage waste and spoilage according to FIFO practices.

Requirements:

Pay:

• Compensation varies by location, based on market pricing and cost of labor index.
• Mira Mesa, CA: $17.25/hour.
• Starting pay depends on skills, experience, location, and market conditions.
