Job summary

North 40 Outfitters in Lewiston, ID is seeking a Full-Time Yard Associate to enhance the customer experience by delivering outstanding service, assisting shoppers, stocking shelves, and safeguarding store assets.

The role requires lifting, operating forklift/pallet jack as needed, and flexibility to work Mon–Sat 7:00–20:00 and Sundays 9:00–17:00, including holidays. Candidates should be team players with a strong work ethic in a fast-paced retail environment.

• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques; physical ability to lift 0-25lbs continuously, 25-45lbs frequently, 45-65lbs occasionally; team lift over 65lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and generate sales
• Stocking and merchandising and safeguarding assets
• Maintain a clean and organized department
• Assist customers with products and educate on North 40 brands
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks and perform related material handling
• Work flexible shifts Mon-Sat 7 am to 8 pm and Sun 9 am to 5 pm

Candidates with forklift and pallet jack experience are urged to apply.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 8 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

• Ability to educate and assist customers on the brands that North 40 sells
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25lbs. continuously, 25-45lbs. frequently, and 45-65 lbs. occasionally, andteam lift anything over 65 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
