North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT is hiring a Full-Time Yard Associate to enhance the customer experience by delivering exceptional service, driving sales, stocking and merchandising, and keeping a clean, organized department. The role requires farm and ranch knowledge, ability to lift heavy items, and forklift certification eligibility.

This position works varied hours Mon-Sat 7am-7pm and Sun 9am-5pm, with potential weekend shifts and holidays.

Job Description
North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT, West Location, is looking to hire a Full-Time Yard Associate to join our team. We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. As a Yard Associate at North 40, you play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service, generating sales and suggesting products, stocking and merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized department and safeguarding company assets. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. The ideal candidate will have farm and ranch knowledge, be able to be certified and drive forklift, with stand heavy lifting (50+ pounds) and able to work in any weather conditions.
This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
Qualifications

• Must be able to multitask and prioritize
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while remaining detailed and focused
• Working knowledge of farm & ranch and fencing a plus
• Ability to become forklift and propane certified, must be 18+ years old to obtain certification
• Willing to work in all weather conditions for the entirety of your shift
• Previous merchandising experience is helpful
• Ability to educate and assist customers on the brands that North 40 sells
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25 lbs. continuously, 25-45 lbs. frequently, and 45-65 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 65 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
