TEAM MEMBER
POSITION DESCRIPTION AND KEY MEASURES
POSITION: Team Member
DEPARTMENT: Retail Operations
REPORTS TO: Store Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE
- Provide exceptional experiences to every customer using the Sell with Style steps.
- Professionally resolve all customer complaints, ensuring the customer leaves satisfied by listening, understanding, and finding a resolution.
- Share product knowledge for current add-ons when styling customers.
- Complete customer bag checks when required.
SALES
- Understand store targets set daily, weekly, and monthly, and track store performance regularly.
- Assist in achieving store sales and performance indicators.
- Track sales hourly using the store diary.
- Continuously improve on all company KPIs and utilize store tools to achieve benchmarks.
EAR PIERCING
- Understand the proper use of mechanical stud and clasp ear devices.
- Provide safe and sanitary ear piercing services.
- Recognize procedures for potential exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING AND HOUSEKEEPING
- Assist in merchandising and store housekeeping.
- Execute floor updates, range updates, and promotions as per planogram.
- Complete sale setups, ensure signage is correct, and daily cleaning routines are followed.
- Log maintenance issues within 24 hours and keep the store tidy and safe.
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
- Process stock according to standards and replenish ranges within 24 hours of delivery.
- Complete regular stock audits and organize excess stock appropriately.
- Ensure all product is repaired if faulty and properly scanned out if non-repairable.
BRAND AMBASSADOR
- Present yourself according to Lovisa Style Guide and wear the team piece on every shift.
- Maintain professional conduct at all times.
COMMUNICATION
- Read, understand, and act on all points in the Lowdown and communication notifications.
- Maintain open communication with the store team and respond to calls/emails promptly.
OTHER
- Comply with all company manuals, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain security awareness, balance cash registers, and be flexible and proactive.
- Work within rostered hours and seek approval for outside hours.
KEY MEASURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Meet sales growth targets, average dollar benchmarks, items per sale, and add-on percentage.
- Achieve LOLA completion rate of 90%.
