Job summary

FAST RETAILING CO., LTD. (UNIQLO) in New York, NY is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to support daily store operations and deliver excellent customer service. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with opportunities to meet goals and contribute to a high-energy team environment.

The role requires effective communication, flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training on UNIQLO service standards and brand knowledge will be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move objects at least 25 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver around store and stockroom with bending, standing, twisting and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales goals.
• Maintain brand and operational standards (visual, cleanliness, etc.).
• Assist customers using UNIQLO service standards and 6 standard phrases.
• Be knowledgeable of fitting room standards and assist when needed.
• Act as cashier when required by following cashier protocol.
• Process shipments and ensure merchandise is on the floor.
• Assist management to identify and resolve store issues.
• Provide product and brand knowledge to customers.
• Follow company policies and notify management of infractions.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
