Description

We are currently looking for entry-level, part-time retail sales associates to join our nationwide pawn store locations. The role involves engaging with customers, processing sales and loans, and working with a variety of merchandise including jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms (in FFL locations).

The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity, with potential earnings of up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $2.26 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to provide financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle sales and loan transactions per company policies.
• Manage cash and negotiable items securely.
• Respond to incoming calls professionally.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Complete training successfully.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age of 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in basic math and cash handling (preferred).
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.

Commission Plan

Pawnbrokers can earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit, with details provided during the interview.
