Description

We are currently seeking entry-level, part-time retail sales associates for our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate collaborates with the store staff to ensure excellent customer service on both lending and retail transactions. Responsibilities include greeting, engaging, and assisting customers with sales, loans, and inquiries, working with various merchandise including jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms (in FFL locations).

This position offers hourly wages plus commissions based on productivity, with potential earnings up to 8% on transactions, averaging an additional $1.85 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to provide financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor and display merchandise.
• Handle sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Manage cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer calls and communicate legal aspects of transactions effectively.
• Collaborate with team to create positive customer experiences.
• Complete required training successfully.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work with firearms and become certified.
• Minimum age 18, High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong customer service and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to multitask and perform basic math.
• Preferred cash handling experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy and POS system operation skills.
