Description

We are currently looking for a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team! The hourly wage ranges from $11.50 to $14.50, with an achievable commission structure that pays for every transaction. Our associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could add approximately $1.75 per hour on top of the base rate.

Position Summary

Seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates at our pawn store locations nationwide. The role involves greeting customers, processing sales and loans, and engaging with a variety of merchandise including jewelry, tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations). The position offers an hourly wage plus commissions based on productivity.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to provide financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Manage cash and negotiable items responsibly.
• Answer calls and communicate legal aspects of transactions effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Complete training successfully.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age of 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to serve customers and work in a team environment.
• Good multitasking skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in basic math and cash handling (preferred).
• Flexible to work at multiple locations and on weekends/holidays.
• Computer literacy and experience with POS systems.

Commission Plan

Employees can earn 2-8% commission based on gross profit, details provided during the interview. This is a proprietary incentive plan.
