We are currently looking for a Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to join our team! We offer an hourly rate of $10.75 to $13.00, along with an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction processed. Our retail sales associates can earn up to 8% on transactions, which could average an additional $0.68 per hour on top of your hourly rate.

Position Summary

Seeking entry-level, part-time sales associates at our pawn store locations nationwide. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing sales and loans, maintaining the sales floor, and providing excellent customer service. The role involves working with various merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Compensation includes hourly wages plus commissions based on productivity.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with customers to provide financial solutions.
• Perform opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise displays.
• Handle sales and loan transactions per policies and regulations.
• Manage cash and negotiable items securely.
• Answer incoming calls professionally.
• Explain legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Participate in training and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work with firearms and obtain certification.
• Minimum age of 18, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service orientation and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic math and cash handling preferred.
• Flexibility to work at multiple locations and on a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• Computer literacy, including POS systems.
