Overview

Retail Sales Associate – Part Time at ALLDATA. AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions for automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies to ensure smooth operations.
• Process Orientation & Safety – Follow structured processes to complete tasks efficiently; adhere to company safety policies and use PPE as required.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

• Flexible Schedule: Availability including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Skills

• Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail Experience: Prior experience in automotive retail.
• Certifications: ASE Certification is a plus.
