Overview

Retail Sales Associate – Part Time role at ALLDATA. AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, helping customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper point of sale procedures and loss prevention policies to ensure smooth store operations.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Follow structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and observe company safety policies, including use of PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Qualifications

• Flexible Schedule: Availability that may include mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Automotive Knowledge: Basic knowledge of automotive parts is preferred.
• Exceptional Communication: Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Automotive Retail: Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Certifications: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
