Job summary

AutoZone in the United States is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions, and by keeping the store running smoothly.

You’ll engage customers, share product knowledge, assist with inventory, and operate the point-of-sale system while upholding safety and teamwork. Bilingual English/Spanish and ASE certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
• Strong bilingual communication in English and Spanish.
• Previous experience in automotive retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment.

• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow POS procedures and loss-prevention policies.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Follow structured processes and safety policies, using PPE as required.
• Product Knowledge – Stay up to date on automotive parts and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
