AutoZone's Part-Time Retail Sales Associates drive sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, performing daily assigned duties, and remaining compliant with company procedures in accordance with AutoZone expectations by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

• Provides WOW! Customer Service
• Completes assigned store tasks in a timely manner
• Operates cash registers and follows cash handling procedures
• Follows company policies and loss prevention procedures
• Maintains a safe working environment including PPE
• Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards
• Restocks merchandise and ensures proper placement
• Utilizes ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or finding alternatives
• Maintains product knowledge and current promotions
• Practices GOTTChA and assists with installation of wipers, batteries, and light bulbs
• Uses OBDII to read codes and diagnose automobile problems
• Communicates customer concerns and employee matters to managers
• Engages in developing customer service skills
• Provides honest advice on products fitting customer expectations

Position Requirements

• Applicants 18 years or older with a High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic automotive parts knowledge required
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
