AutoZone's Part-Time Retail Sales Associates drive sales through superior customer service by exceeding customer expectations and providing a WOW! Customer Service experience. Responsibilities include assisting customers, performing daily duties, and adhering to company procedures in accordance with AutoZone's expectations by Living the Pledge every day.

Position Responsibilities

• Provides WOW! Customer Service
• Completes assigned store tasks timely
• Operates cash registers following cash handling procedures
• Follows company policies and loss prevention procedures
• Maintains a safe environment with PPE
• Maintains store appearance and merchandising standards
• Restocks merchandise and ensures proper placement
• Uses ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or alternatives
• Maintains product knowledge and current promotions
• Assists with installation of wiper blades, batteries, and light bulbs using GOTTChA
• Uses OBDII to read codes and diagnose automobile issues
• Communicates customer concerns and employee matters to managers
• Engages in developing customer service skills
• Provides honest advice on products fitting customer expectations

Position Requirements

• Applicants 18+ years old, High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic automotive parts knowledge
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to lift and deliver merchandise
• Flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, weekends
