Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will assist customers, answer questions, and help keep the sales floor and stockroom organized.

Responsibilities include providing excellent service, answering inquiries, recommending products, and ensuring the store is well-presented. The role requires strong communication and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus.
• Upon accepting a position offered, candidate will be subject to E-Verify.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Role Overview

Sales Associates play a key role in deliveringan exceptionalshopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities include assisting customers throughout the store, answering questions, and ensuring a well-organized sales floor and stockroom.

Primary Duties

• Provide excellent customer service andassistcustomers throughout the store
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales
• Checking and retrieving merchandise from stockroom as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
• Performs or may performadditionalduties as assigned by management and supervision

Position Requirements
