Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and move merchandise to stock areas.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Store merchandise in stock room or stock on sales floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays, facing shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise and ensure shelves are tidy.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and answering questions.
• Greet customers and operate cash register to itemize and total purchases.
• Bag merchandise, collect payment and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners as needed.
• Help set up sidewalk displays and keep front end clean.
