Job description

HealthFitness has a new opportunity for a temporary (4 months)ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT to work remotely in support of our client with multiple locations throughout the country. In thisposition, you willsupport the managerial and professional staff with a variety of office functions that include, but are not limited to data entry, typing, office supply ordering and inventory and member relations problem solving. Need to be able to support all time zones within the USA. Approximate dates: June 14, 2021 - October 31, 2021.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsibilities include office supply inventory/ordering, internal record keeping, general emailing's, staff business cards/nametag ordering, and coordinating promotional material distribution.
  • Performs wordprocessing tasks and creates/updates spreadsheets. Develops Power Point presentations as requested.
  • Maintains uniform inventory and coordinates distribution process.
  • Provides administrative and staffing support for internal programs, membership drives and special events.
  • Performs customer service and member relations management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS:

REQUIRED:

  • Associate’s Degree in a business related field and two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Strong computer and typing skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of individuals both within HealthFitness and the client organization.
  • Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
  • Availability to work weekends as needed.

PREFERRED:

  • CPR/AED and first aidcertifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
