Job summary

Wild Bill’s Tobacco is hiring for a retail associate to deliver outstanding customer service, greet customers, answer questions, and help them find products. You will work to meet sales goals, promote the brand, and maintain a clean, stocked store.

Role requires readiness to travel up to 15 miles for shift coverage, cash handling, and daily store operations. Prior retail experience and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience in retail environments and customer service.
• Professional, energetic and positive attitude.
• Excellent written and verbal/interpersonal communications skills.
• Flexible scheduling availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to customers visiting the store, including greeting, answering phones, and assessing their needs in a positive manner.
• Answer questions and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• Create relationships with customers in order to suggest products.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
• Participate in opportunities to gain product knowledge to be the expert.
• Promote the brand inside and outside the store/retail location.
• Assist with all functions within a retail store in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store for customers.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Travel within a 15-mile radius from home store for shift coverage.
• Open and close the store, including cash handling, inventory, and deposits per standards.
• Complete accurate paperwork and transactions according to policies.
• Maintain store appearance, back room, restrooms, and personal area.
• Build customers’ confidence by making their experience comfortable and simple.
• Assist in other tasks, duties, or projects as assigned by management.
• Open and close the store, locking doors and setting the alarm.
• Work shifts ranging from 4 to 12 hours on the sales floor.
• Must be able to twist, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
