Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Champaign, IL is seeking store teammates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and help them find products while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining floor presentation, promoting loyalty and warranty programs, and adhering to safety policies. The role emphasizes teamwork and inclusivity, with additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs. occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours).

• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs (loyalty, warranty sales, private label enrollment).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention, and SOPs and maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where teammates and customers feel welcome and respected.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.

Targeted Pay Range: $15.00 - $22.00. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
