AutoZone is hiring a Senior Retail Sales Associate in the United States. This role focuses on delivering WOW! Customer Service, assisting customers with part selections, and providing expert automotive advice.

You will lead by example, support the team, and drive sales while maintaining store operations and safety compliance. Ideal candidates bring automotive knowledge, strong communication, and a flexible schedule to cover mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Customer Assistance & Communication – Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and ensure positive interactions through clear, professional communication.
• Leadership & Teamwork – Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment. Support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Sales & Metrics Mindedness – Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance customer experience, while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Inventory Management & Store Operations – Restock merchandise, maintain organization, and follow proper cash handling procedures, loss prevention policies ensuring proper financial management. Keep store operations running smoothly.
• Process Orientation & Safety Compliance – Utilize structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently. Follow company safety policies and use PPE to maintain a secure work environment.
• Product Knowledge & Installation Services – Stay up-to-date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Diagnostics Support – Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
