Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods in Fayetteville, AR is seeking store teammates who excel at customer service and teamwork. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and help create an exceptional shopping experience while upholding merchandising standards across the floor.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following floor sets, signage, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards.
• Promote company programs (loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment).
• Adhere to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures; maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
