Job summary

The Children's Place in Nashville is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals through outstanding customer service, product knowledge, and effective selling techniques. You will maintain store and backroom cleanliness and ensure merchandise presentation and replenishment meet company standards.

You will greet customers, communicate promotions, assist with sizing and checkout, process stock transfers as needed, and help maintain safety and loss

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assisting customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing the appropriate level of service.
• Communicate value and promotions, offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizing and styles are represented.
• Follow merchandising standards and keep the store and backroom neat and safe.
• Support loss prevention procedures and keep a clean environment.
