Job summary

The Children’s Place in Northridge, CA is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain product knowledge, and apply effective selling techniques in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, communicating promotions, restocking, keeping the store clean, and processing transactions at the cashwrap while encouraging the PLACE Card.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet customers and provide the appropriate level of service.
• Communicate promotions and offer solutions for out of stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and promote the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes/styles are represented.
• Follow signage, presentation, and housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention procedures and safety requirements.
