Job summary

Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking a Sales Associate to join our neighborhood store. You will assist customers, answer questions, and keep the sales floor organized and stocked while delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and can work in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and organizational abilities are a plus, and E-Verify applies to new hires.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic organizational and/or applicable math skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus.
• Upon accepting a position offered, candidate will be subject to E-Verify.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the store

• Checking and retrieving merchandise from stockroom as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
• Performs or may perform additional duties as assigned by management and supervision
