Job summary

Big 5 Sporting Goods is seeking Sales Associates to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. You will assist customers, answer inquiries, and keep the sales floor organized. The role requires strong communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities include helping customers, answering calls, recommending products, and stocking merchandise. Light lifting may be required; E-Verify is noted in policy and eligibility considerations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable; able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers throughout the store.
• Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales.
• Checking and retrieving merchandise from stockroom as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor.
• Performs or may perform additional duties as assigned by management and supervision.
