Job summary

The Childrens Place in Florence, South Carolina is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model excellent customer service, apply product knowledge, and utilize effective selling techniques to meet guests' needs.

You will ensure merchandise presentation, replenish stock, and maintain a clean store and backroom. The role requires flexibility: weekends, evenings, and occasional overnight shifts as business needs demand.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency to assist customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while providing appropriate level of service.
• Effectively communicate value and promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items when necessary.
• Exercise sound judgment in addressing customer concerns.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate customers on the PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
