The Children’s Place in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, apply product knowledge, and use effective selling techniques to drive transactions.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, replenish stock, manage backroom organization, and ensure a clean, safe store environment. Flexible scheduling including weekends and evenings is required.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency to assist customers.
• Greet and acknowledge customers while delivering the appropriate level of service.
• Communicate value and quality of merchandise and promote current promotions.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment and courtesy.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly service at the cashwrap and educate about the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure all sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow standards for merchandise presentation, signage, and displays.
• Keep stockroom neat and organized; maintain a customer-ready environment and safety.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Report maintenance and facility needs to Store Leadership promptly.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, well-managed efforts.
• Be flexible with stock processing as needed.
