Job summary

The Children’s Place in South Portland, Maine is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will model and maintain excellent customer service with effective communication, product knowledge, and appropriate selling techniques while ensuring merchandise presentation, replenishment, and sizing are kept neat and up to date.

You will greet customers, promote current offers, address inquiries, and assist with stockroom organization.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service level.
• Respond to customer activity with urgency and assist customers first.
• Explain value and promotions; offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
