Job summary

CHEF’S STORE in Washington state is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service, handle sales at the front end, and stock shelves as needed. You may work in multiple departments and assist with events, with a focus on delivering a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The role requires 6-12 months of retail cashier or stocking experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-12 months retail cashier and/or stocking experience required.
• Minimum one year retail selling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide an impeccable CHEF’S STORE experience and build relationships with customers.
• Perform sales and cash functions at the POS accurately.
• Assist on the sales floor in Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply.
• Replenish freight and rotate product following FIFO.
• Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
