Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT, East Location,is looking to hire aFull-Time Firearms Vault Administratorto join our team.We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company. We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self. As a Firearms Vault Administratorat North 40, you play a key role in the overall customer experience by providing outstanding customer service,generating sales and suggesting products, stocking and merchandising, maintaining a clean and organized department, leading and developing a successful team and safeguarding company assets.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age to work around firearms
• Knowledge of 4473 forms preferred
• Administrative background or similar experience with computer knowledgeis optimal
• Regular audits of 4473 and all related records and paperwork
• Responsible for adherance to all local, state and federal guidelines for acquisition, safe storage, transfer and disposition of firearms, explosives and ammunition
• Responsible for checking and maintaining accuracy of paperwork
• Experience and knowledge of firearms, shooting, scopes, ammo, reloading, and accessories required
• General knowledge of sporting goods helpful
• Previous merchandising experience is helpful
• Ability to educate and assist customers on the brands that North 40 sells
• Ability to work well with others, and lead and motivate a team
• Sales experience, merchandising, and computer skills a plus
• Committed to providing feedback, developing others, and making decisions under ambiguity
• A willingness to lead by example
• Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques. Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25lbs. continuously, 25-45lbs. frequently, and 45-65lbs. occasionally, andteam lift anything over 65 lbs. Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
