Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Store Associate to act as the main contact for customers, assist with plan-o-grams, stock shelves, and maintain store presentation. You will unload trucks, build displays, and support checkout operations to ensure fast, friendly service.

Qualifications

Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

Unload trucks and stock merchandise in stock room or on sales floor.
Build and rotate displays; stock and face merchandise on shelves.
Restock recovered merchandise and assist customers in locating items.
Operate cash register and scanning devices to itemize and total purchases.
Collect payment and make change.
Assist with ordering merchandise using handheld scanners.
Maintain cleanliness at checkout and front end; support sidewalk displays as needed.
