Job summary

The Children's Place in Bronx, NY is hiring a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver excellent customer service, maintain product knowledge, and ensure proper merchandising, stock replenishment, and store cleanliness.

You will greet customers, communicate promotions, assist in finding items, handle cash at the register, and promote the PLACE Card. This role requires 18+ and prior retail experience is preferred; weekend and flexible

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency, prioritizing assisting customers.
• Greet customers and provide the appropriate level of service.
• Explain promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items when necessary.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.
• Demonstrate selling skills to positively impact conversion.
• Provide fast, friendly cashwrap service and explain The PLACE Card benefits.
• Maintain stock levels and ensure sizes and styles are represented.
• Follow merchandise presentation, signage, and display standards.
• Keep stockroom neat, clean, and organized for a customer-ready environment.
• Perform daily housekeeping to company standards.
• Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform Store Leadership of maintenance and facility needs promptly.
• Contribute to store goals with focused, well-managed efforts.
• Process stock when necessary.
