Job summary

The Children’s Place in Monterey Park, California is seeking a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team and deliver outstanding customer service. You will use product knowledge and effective communication to assist shoppers and promote current promotions.

You will maintain merchandise presentation, backroom organization, and cleanliness, help with stock and sizing, and participate in loss prevention. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and overtime is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Explain value and promotions and offer solutions for out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment.

• Protect assets by following Loss Prevention procedures.
• Inform leadership of maintenance needs for safety.
• Contribute to store goals with focused effort.
