Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as the primary point of contact for customers, assist them in locating and purchasing merchandise, and operate the cash register. You will also stock shelves, recover merchandise, clean the store, and support the Store Manager to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires basic cash handling, planogram reading, good math skills, and strong communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment and give change.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, restock shelves, clean restrooms and assist with sidewalk displays.
• Assist Store Manager with other duties as assigned.
