Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a store associate to act as the point of contact for customers, stock merchandise, build displays, and operate the cash register. You will help maintain plan-o-grams, assist customers in locating items, and ensure the sales floor is clean and organized.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; store in stock room or on sales floor.
• Build merchandise displays and rotate stock on shelves.
• Restock recovered merchandise; assist customers in locating items.
• Greet customers and operate the cash register; bag items and make change.
• Assist with ordering merchandise using hand-held scanners when needed.
• Keep front end clean and help with sidewalk displays; follow policies.
