Job summary

Dollar General is hiring a Sales Associate in Illinois to assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and display merchandise, and maintain store cleanliness. This role requires an emphasis on accuracy with cash handling and adherence to planograms.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise.
• Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.
