Job summary

The Children's Place in Yonkers, NY is looking for a Sales Associate to support the Store Leadership Team in achieving company goals. You will deliver exceptional customer service, use strong product knowledge, and employ effective selling techniques.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, promoting current offers, maintaining merchandise presentation, stocking, and performing cashwrap duties while ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be aware of customer activity and respond with urgency.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with appropriate service.
• Communicate value and promotions, assist with out-of-stock items.
• Address customer concerns with sound judgment and selling skills.
• Assist at cashwrap with fast, friendly service and educate on the PLACE Card.
• Maintain stock levels, signage, and merchandise presentation.
• Keep stockroom neat and adhere to safety requirements.
• Inform leadership of maintenance needs for a safe environment.
• Support store goals through focused, organized effort.
