Job summary

Dollar General in Minnesota is seeking a Sales Associate to be the friendly front-line contact for customers, assist in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, and help maintain accurate sales records.

Responsibilities include stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, cleaning the store, taking out trash, and supporting the Store Manager to maximize store profitability and customer satisfaction while protecting company assets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise.
• Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room, and help set up sidewalk displays.
